2024 - 2025 Committee Chairs

Membership - Alisha Wright

The Membership committee recruits, welcomes and assists in retaining new members. The coordinate new member mixers along with the Red Rose Reception. This committee chair also oversees meeting accomodations and registration. This includes coordinating the catering for membership meeting.

Personal Development & Education - Enbal Cohen

The PD&E committee promotes continuing education courses through the NAWIC Education Foundation and provides a diverse portfolio of speakers for Membership Meetings.

Publicity/Social Media - Alicia Cadriel & Theora Carter

The Publicity committee helps promotes NAWIC's misson, membership meetings and other various chapter activites. This includes overseeing social media accounts and keeping the website current.

Block Kids - Michelle Dinan-Cardone

Block Kids is a national competition sponsored by the NAWIC Education Foundation. Grades 1 – 6 have one hour to build a construction project using 100 interlocking building blocks.

Red Rose Bowling - Available Chair

The Red Rose Bowling committee coordinates our annual bowling tournament, which is our major fundraising activity for the year. This provide funds for the Lodine Robinson NAWIC Endowment fund which is overseen by the Grants committee.

Grants - Kathy Kingsland

The Grants committee gathers applications from qualified students enrolled in construction-related programs at local universities and vocational schools to receive Chapter grants. Funding is generated from various fundraising events throughout the year.

WIC Week - Carol Hagen

The Women in Construction (WIC) Week committee is responsible for organizing different events during the week to celebrate Women in Construction.

Community Outreach - Alicia Cadriel

The Community Outreach committee sponsors industry related activities and functions beneficial to the construction industry and our community.

Bylaws - Linda Austin

The Bylaws committee proposes amendments to the Chapter Standing Rules and Chapter Guidelines for the Board to consider. This includes submiting approved amendments to the NAWIC Bylaws Chair for review.

Nominating - Available Chair

This committee consists of no less than 3 voting members, who are elected no later than the end of March each year. Two members shall be elected from the membership, and One from the Board.
